Mexico Travel Project

In Spanish 1 Honors, we did a project on Mexico about the populations, labeled a map of Mexico, and researched 10 places/things to see in Mexico, two of which were in the state of Nayarit. This project connected to our curriculum by showing us Mexican culture and we learned a little about the state that Ana, the main character from our story we are reading, is visiting. From the portion of our project where we found the population of specific cities or states, I learned that Mexico city has a population of 8.9 million. Which is the largest population for a state in Mexico. From the research over 10 places/things to see in Mexico, I learned about a large amount of Mayan architecture that they have such as pyramids. 2 places from this research that interested me are CuncĂșn Underwater Museum which is an Underwater Museum with sculptures that you can swim near an observe. Also, Islas Marietas National Park is pretty interesting considering it is a group of islands located in federal waters that people still visit freely.
